Ingredients:

For the Salmon & Asparagus:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • ½ lemon, sliced into thin rounds

For the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (for balance)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for extra depth)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prep the Foil Packets:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Tear two large pieces of aluminum foil and place a salmon fillet in the center of each.

2️⃣ Season & Arrange:

  • Place asparagus spears around the salmon fillets.
  • Drizzle everything with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  • Top each fillet with thin lemon slices.
