These Bacon Cheeseburger Balls are bite-sized, juicy, and packed with flavor—perfect as an appetizer or a fun twist on a classic burger!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for crispiness)
- 1 egg, beaten (for binding)
- 2 tbsp pickles, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the filling – In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form meatballs – Take about 1 tbsp of ground beef, flatten it, and place a small amount of the cheese filling in the center. Wrap the beef around the filling and roll into a ball.
- Coat with bacon – Roll each ball in crumbled bacon (or mix the bacon into the meat mixture).
- Bake – Place on the baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
